I just got back from the most inspiring few days in Salt Lake City, where I had the chance to attend an incredible photography workshop—and wow, my creative cup is full.
Workshops like this are so important to me. They push me outside my comfort zone, help me refine my skills, and honestly just remind me why I love what I do. We spent time shooting in the most unreal locations, playing with light, experimenting with bold wardrobe choices, and learning from photographers who absolutely kill it in the industry.
The styling this time around was next-level—fringe, denim, cowgirl boots, soft tulle, and vintage vibes. I loved every second of creating in these environments. Being surrounded by other creatives, sharing tips, and soaking in the energy of the mountains around us? It was the reset I didn’t know I needed.
Continued education might sound formal, but to me, it’s just part of staying fresh—so I can bring new energy, inspiration, and creativity to every session back home in Sacramento. My clients deserve that, and I want to always show up with new ideas, confidence behind the camera, and a fire to create something epic every single time.
Here’s to growth, connection, and never being done learning.
